Founded in 1923 and centrally located near downtown Jacksonville on the beautiful south bank of the St. Johns River, Assumption is a thriving school with more than 600 students in preschool through eighth grade. Our curriculum stresses academic achievement and the virtues of a Catholic community where children feel loved and respected by their peers and their teachers. United with each other in meaningful learning, liturgy, and prayer, Assumption students grow in faith and academics and graduate from our school with the foundation to live a purpose-filled life and as life-long members of the Knight family.
