CAP instructs, instills and inspires through a variety of offerings including afterschool, school day and summer programs, cultural experiences, advocacy, community partnerships and professional development.
Through CAP programs, children and young adults receive free quality, standards-based instruction in dance, media arts, music, theatre and visual arts.

String Summer Intensive – Session 3
In-Person
June 24-28 | Small ensemble repertoire is critical for string performers and this session will focus on works specifically composed for smaller groups. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate in small ensemble groups of two or three, as well as perform music together at the end of the session.

String Summer Intensive – Session 2
In-Person
June 17-21 | Ukulele: Explore a new string instrument that is not found in a typical string orchestra. Students will learn to play chords and melodies on the ukulele and perform together at the end of the session.

String Summer Intensive – Session 1
In-Person
June 10-14 | Build an Instrument: Many simple versions of orchestral and traditional instruments can be made using various supplies found around the house. Students will learn to make and perform with their instruments.
