Tennessee Walking Horse Rides on Amelia Beach
Our customers get to experience more than just a basic beach ride. With Happy Trails, you get to experience a wonderful horse breed called Tennessee Walking Horse operated by a family of 3 generations being involved. We assign a horse to you so you have a great ride with a horse suited to you. Once on your horse, we teach you how to ride our horses in a short riding and safety lesson, then your Guide leads you out to the beautiful beach that awaits you!

Horseback riding on the beach sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? After all, what better way is there to experience the unique tranquility and beauty of the ocean than by gilding along the shoreline atop a magnificent animal? Well, if you’re looking to make that dream a reality, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you!

If you’ve always wanted to travel on horseback, you would be hard-pressed to find a gentler companion than a Tennessee Walking Horse. The breed is famous for its calm demeanor, and steady and even gait. We had been breeding these friendly and loving horses for many years and we bred them to maintain their original gait. No cruelty training or conditioning involved. With these beautiful animals taking you along the shore of Amelia Island State Park, you’ll be treated to what we like to call the “Cadillac of rides.”

Visitors of Amelia Island looking for things to do on our laidback shores can enjoy the shores of rolling dunes and beautiful water by horseback riding on Amelia Beach. At Happy Trails Walking Horses, we offer a unique adventure on horseback as a beach ride, on the original plantation horse—the Tennessee Walking Horse.
